How I work with Sellers

It is my joy and my honor to work with my clients on real estate transactions. I am well aware that real estate transactions involve huge financial and emotional decisions for Sellers and Buyers alike, and my goal is not only to sell your home, but to sell it so that you know you received the best possible service and the best possible price, under current market conditions.

Attention to Detail

The most important piece of marketing your home will receive is the MLS listing. It may seem basic, but it is not, and real estate agents carelessly make mistakes every single day. As your agent, the content of your MLS listing is at my discretion, and the MLS listing is the information fed to all real estate search engines, such as Zillow, Trulia, RedFin, etc. For my listings, I commit to upload a minimum of 15 professional photos, write an accurate and interesting description, include room measurements, provide accurate house and lot square footage, and provide a 3% Buyer’s Agent commission.

Professional Photographs

My listing service includes professional photographs taken of your home for all marketing purposes. Professional photos add much value when marketing your home, because a photographer can truly capture the best assets of your home taking wide angle shots and using a lens that adds contrast to make your home’s vibrancy stand out and to make it more welcoming.

Professional Staging Consultation

When you list your home with me, I include a 1-2 hour consultation with a professional interior designer. I pay for the expense as part of my listing package. Any further services you choose to use with the interior designer will be at your expense.

Open and Honest Communication

I am committed to open and honest communication with all of my clients. You may provide me with the same, and I promise not to take anything you would like to discuss personally. I am available on my cell phone for calls and texts with quick response time.


As your real estate agent, I am privy to some of your personal information. You have my commitment to strict confidentiality among the real estate community and our community at large.


I will provide you access to all of the market information available, so that you are able, if you so choose, to analyze the real estate market alongside me. I want you to feel confident in the list price we choose together for your home. You will have constant access to a live market portal throughout the entire listing process, so we both can see how the active market is affecting your home. Together we can collaborate, offering your property at a competitive market price to get the most money for your property.

No Pressure

I will never pressure you into making a real estate decision you are not comfortable with, from choosing a list price to accepting an offer. My goal is not to simply sell your property, but to sell your property so that you, as my client, feel in control and served well.


I operate with integrity on every level of my life, including my business. This translates into a business relationship defined by integrity, fairness, and honesty. This plays out not only in my relationship with you, but also with other agents. Real estate agents I work with respect me and know that I do not play games. While I have excellent working relationships with other agents, I am not working to please them; I am working for you and you only.

Listing Updates

I will contact all agents who have shown your property within 5-10 hours of their showing. I will contact them at least 2 times (if I haven’t reached them prior) to receive feedback. My goal is to email you all feedback within 48 hours of a showing if the Buyer’s agent is communicating. Selling property can be an emotional process, and receiving feedback helps us achieve our goal and also leaves out uncertainty.


When you hire me as your real estate agent, you have access to my expertise 7 days of the week. If I am on vacation, you also have access to my business partner (and mom), Melissa O’Connell. We have bi-weekly meetings to update each other on all of our clients. If ever I am unreachable, you may call Melissa to support your needs at the moment.
